June FFF x TERK presents Upcycling

πŸ’Ÿ An upcycling workshop for any skill level. You'll be sewing on patches and learning other methods to rework clothes you bring from home or items from our clothing exchange.

🌐 Work on your project in a social setting. Make friends, expand your network of creatives, and practice / learn new skills.

♻️ Get advice from Amira from @terkkkkkk if you have any creative blocks. All skill levels are welcome, we have materials and everything you need to make your project idea a reality!

F#!% Fast Fashion is a clothing exchange hub based in Dalston on a mission to redefine people's relationship with textile waste.

We stock local sustainable designers, giving you inspiration and leading workshops to teach you their craft.

We are a collective with a goal to provide an inclusive and accessible alternative to charity shops. 80-90% of clothes donated to charity shops are sold to countries in the Global South against their will. Fast fashion companies make it hard to find information on a wide scale. As an example, one market in Ghana receives 15 million garments a week, with 40% going directly to landfill (The Or Foundation).

Join the sustainable fashion movement making swapping accessible beyond friends and family, online apps and events. Did you know 6 out of 10 Britons don't know how to sew on a button (British Heart Foundation) ! We're here to change that. We opened our shop in Dalston four months ago and 10+ councils have expressed interest in providing us free space. We're coming soon to a high street near you ! Follow our journey on our Instagram, Tiktok or website.
