Discuss the industry’s impacts on the Global South, weigh in on the steps to action change, and examine what the responsibility is for all those along the fashion chain, from policymakers to consumers.

The talk is chaired by British-Nigerian artist Sokari Douglas Camp. Her work and sculpture focus on socio-political issues and the history of the African diaspora, looking at the ways we address the legacies of slavery, issues of power and gender, and the climate crisis.

Panellists include sustainable development specialist Francesca Zoppi. For the past years, she has supported the engagement of the United Nations’ mandate in matters concerning the implementation, follow up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
